Yamaha DBR15 Powered Speaker - DBR15
The Yamaha DBR15 powered speaker is a self-contained 800-watt PA system for live sound and playback applications. It boasts high power, ample features and is one of the most affordable active speakers in its class.
The 2-way design has a 15" powered woofer and a 1.4" high-frequency compression driver for exceptional clarity. These components deliver generous low end with articulate, detailed mids and crystal clear highs and are custom designed for the DBR15.
Yamaha's DBR15 has the advanced engineering design of Class-D amplification and offers low distortion and energy efficiency – eliminating the need for a heavy power supply and massive heat sinks. It also reduces cabinet weight, making it easier for you to transport and set up for each gig.
Our DBR-15 powered speaker has an easy-to-use two-channel mixer, with CH1 having a combo jack that accepts both XLR and TRS Phone allowing for either Mic or Line level input signals. CH2 offers two input options; a combo jack that accepts XLR or TRS Phone, and an RCA pin jack for input from CD players or other stereo line-level sources. The onboard mixer allows you to select either CH1+2 MIX to mix the signal of CH1 and CH2 or CH1 THRU to pass the signal from CH1 only.
Other important features include a compact, lightweight plastic cabinet for easy portability, a steel grille that protects internal components, a symmetrical shape that allows effortless configuration for a floor monitoring system, and M8 rigging threads for flying applications.
The Yamaha DBR15 active PA speaker is lightweight and powerful party box with a built-in mixer, and custom-designed speakers. It's ideal for both speech and music applications, at a price that's hard to beat. Contact Andy's Music and get yours on the way.

Maintenance Tips
- Keep the Speaker Dry: Avoid exposing the speaker to moisture or humidity. If it gets wet, wipe it down immediately with a dry, soft cloth to prevent internal damage.
- Regular Dusting: Use a soft, dry cloth to dust the exterior of the speaker, including the grille, to keep it looking clean and to prevent dirt buildup. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the surface.
- Protect the Speaker from Impact: Store and transport the speaker in a protective case or padded bag to prevent physical damage, especially to the speaker cone and components.
- Inspect the Cables: Regularly check the power and audio cables for signs of wear or damage. Replace any frayed or broken cables immediately to avoid electrical issues or damage to the speaker.
- Clean the Ports and Vents: Keep the speaker’s vents and ports free from dust and debris. Use a soft brush or compressed air to gently clean them, as blocked vents can cause overheating and reduce performance.
- Check the Connections: Before each use, ensure all audio input and output connections are secure and not loose. Loose connections can lead to signal loss or distortion.
- Avoid Overloading the Speaker: Be mindful of the volume and power levels to avoid overloading the speaker. Consistently pushing the speaker beyond its capacity can damage the internal components.
- Store Properly: When not in use, store the speaker in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight, as this can cause long-term damage.
- Use with Proper Power Supply: Ensure you’re using the correct voltage and power supply for the speaker. Using an incorrect power source can damage the internal circuitry and affect sound quality.
- Periodic Professional Servicing: If you notice any issues such as distortion, low sound output, or power problems, have the speaker professionally serviced to identify and resolve any internal issues.
